➤ Councilman Christopher Grant, 37, was arraigned on a violent felony assault charge after he allegedly punched a 69-year-old man during his riverfront Caribbean Fest on August 2 and issued a partial apology for his actions — he is now required to report weekly to the Dutchess County Department of Probation until his case is resolved.
