- ➤ A Poughkeepsie man, 31, was arrested on Wednesday, April 9 when undercover officers bought illegal drugs on Carroll Street—he now faces a serious drug charge and was set to appear in City Court on Thursday. Mid Hudson News

- ➤ On Wednesday, the New York State DEC confirmed changes to its endangered species list for the first time in 26 years—adding the Atlantic coast leopard frog and other species recognized under federal law. - ➤ The State of Connecticut approved a $20 billion merger that joins Nuvance Health and Northwell Health, including hospitals such as Poughkeepsie's Vassar Brothers Medical Center and facilities in Rhinebeck, Carmel and Danbury.
