Be a Kid Librarian

About this event

During the hour, our Kid Librarians will: -Get their picture taken and given an ID card that they get to keep -Get to select and display their favorite books in a designated display which will remain up for the rest of the week -Share things on the shelf like the books they are reading, their artwork and facts about themselves. -Get a tour of the children's library office, go behind the children's circulation desk and learn how to check a book out -Help a librarian search for and shelve books For ages 8-11. Kids can only be a Kid Librarian once a year. Registration required. If all slots are full, please consider joining the waitlist for any of the dates or email mmcguinness@poklib.org to join. The waitlist will be used to pick kids for future weeks of this program.
