About Gaga

Gaga is the movement language developed by Ohad Naharin throughout many

years, parallel to his work as a world-renowned choreographer. Gaga classes are

predicated on a deep activation of the body and physical sensations. We provide a

framework for discovering and strengthening the body and adding flexibility,

stamina, agility, and skills including coordination and efficiency while stimulating

the senses and the imagination. Participants awaken numb areas, increase their

awareness of habits, and improve their efficiency of movement inside multilayered

tasks, and they are encouraged to connect to pleasure inside moments of effort.

The research of Gaga is in a continual process of evolution, and the classes vary and

develop accordingly.

About the teacher

Omri Drumlevich is a Hudson Valley–based choreographer, performer, and senior Gaga teacher. He has taught internationally in the US, Europe, and Israel, and brings a clear, welcoming approach that invites adults of all backgrounds to reconnect to their bodies, awaken sensation, and enjoy the pleasure of moving together.
