Welcome Home, Dolly! A Benefit Concert.

Miraculously, she arrived: a centenarian baby grand named Dolly , with a storied Broadway past and a new home on our stage. She takes her name from the title character of Hello, Dolly! , whose original Broadway cast she accompanied during the Carol Channing years, 1964–1970. Lovingly restored, tuned, and generously donated by master piano restorer and pianist Michael Schirmer, Dolly is ready for her next act.

Join us for a three-hour Sunday matinee and discover Dolly in her new surroundings. A parade of musicians will put her versatility to the test, revealing her many colors, moods, and sonic surprises. Jazz, blues, classical, folk, funk, gospel, Broadway, cabaret, ragtime, rock, world music—and whatever else the moment may call for. Think of it as a musical unveiling, with Dolly as the star of the show.

What began as a celebration of Dolly's arrival has also become a benefit for The Muse. In a wonderful spirit of camaraderie, the participating musicians are donating their time and talents to help sustain The Muse and its mission to champion artists of every discipline throughout the Hudson Valley and beyond. Their generosity is a beautiful testament to the community of artists that has gathered around The Muse.
