Sargent Elementary 5K Turkey Trot

About this event

Join us for the 5th Annual Sargent Elementary School Turkey Trot 5K and Kids Fun Run!

Race Start Times

Kids Fun Run - 9:15 AM

5K Road Race - 10:00 AM

Lace up your sneakers and bring the whole family for a morning of fun, fitness, and community spirit! The 5K is perfect for runners and walkers of all levels, featuring a scenic course along the beautiful trails of Long Dock Park. Our Kids Fun Run, led by Sargent’s amazing PE staff, offers younger runners a chance to shine on campus in a shorter 1 mile race!

This year, SES Student Council is hosting a Food Drive in partnership with Fareground Food + Community! We’ll be collecting non-perishable and canned food items at the Turkey Trot, but donations can also be dropped off at Sargent Elementary anytime from November 1–21 . Your contributions will help support local families during the holiday season.

After the race, stick around for post-race celebrations with music from a live DJ and refreshments.

Come run, walk, cheer, or donate—let’s make this Turkey Trot the best one yet as we celebrate health, togetherness, and the start of the holiday season!

Due to the nature of the trail portion of the course, strollers are not allowed. Dogs are also not allowed on the school premises.
