- ➤ Marine Corps Veteran Adam Roche, Director of the Dutchess County Office of Veterans Affairs, received a commemorative Hometown Heroes banner that now hangs outside the Veterans One Stop on Route 44 in Pleasant Valley—presented during a ceremony with the Pleasant Valley Fire Department, County Executive Sue Serino, Town Clerk Mary Beth Muir, and local veterans. - ➤ Heritage Financial Park in Wappingers Falls is hosting Winter Glow, a drive-thru light display featuring a one-mile route of festive holiday scenes, open Thursday through Sunday from 5 pm to 9 pm. - ➤ Rocking Horse Ranch Resort in Highland offers Cosmic Night Tubing on select dates, inviting visitors to try its mountain tubing adventure under the stars.
