- ➤ The Ulster County Sheriff's Office announced that retired K9 Farrell passed away on November 19th after serving seven years with —Deputy James Slinsky—. He was recognized for his role in drug detection, tracking missing persons, and engaging local children, and he was named for Sergeant Shawn M. Farrell II who died while serving in Afghanistan.
