- ➤ J&D Brush Company recalled about 357,000 Bio Ionic curling irons on October 23rd due to a detachable barrel that caused burn injuries in 258 reported incidents—six of which led to minor burns. - ➤ On Friday, the varsity girls volleyball team at Poughkeepsie High School cheered after earning its first berth in the NYSPHSAA Section 1 Class AA playoffs in many years.
