GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Residents in Fishkill are upset that a long-abandoned construction site near the Route 52 and Route 82 intersection remains an eyesore, and local leaders will hold a public hearing on October 15th to decide on cleanup measures. The town said the developer requested an extension and only partly cleaned the site (leaving garbage piles), and officials may soon issue a Request for Proposal to address the issue.  Hudson Valley Post
