- ➤ On Saturday, the Rip Van Winkle Bridge will celebrate its 90th anniversary with a motorcade and the Skywalk Arts Festival. Organizers say free shuttle service from Catskill Middle School (345 West Main Street) and the Green County Office Building (411 Main Street) will help ease delays caused by the motorcade. - ➤ Stony Kill Farm in Wappingers Falls is a working farm where visitors can pet animals+ walk five trails over 756 acres. Executive Director Stacy Lynch Adnams said the farm is open every day from sunup to sundown and offers gardens, pastures and an old farmhouse. News 12 Hudson Valley

- ➤ Eli Kochman—a Poughkeepsie-born sous chef at Chleo in Kingston—competed on Netflix’s Next Gen Chef after being selected from 75,000 applicants, and a watch party held at his restaurant on Wednesday drew dozens of local supporters as he said the experience fuelled his drive to excel in the culinary field. - ➤ Supporters of coach Bruce Guyette asked the school board to let him keep his job after a Title IX complaint led to a DASA investigation following a May 7 game — they said his 647 wins and good record prove he is a strong coach. - ➤ New York and other Northeast states issued updated COVID-19 vaccine recommendations on Sept. 15 that urge everyone aged six months and older to get a shot this fall. Gov.
