- ➤ On September 8, City Hall in Poughkeepsie hosted a swearing-in ceremony where four new police academy recruits—Joseph Ditizio, Nicholas Barbagallo, Corey Badger and Daniel Salamone—were welcomed along with two lateral officers from the NYPD, raising the total number of police officers to a record 87.
