ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Fire crews rushed to a basement fire at a Poughkeepsie home on Sept. 2 at 2 a.m. and quickly confined the flames to the garage while checking for residents—multiple departments assisted and no injuries were reported as the investigation continues. Daily Voice
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ On Wednesday morning at about 9:10 a.m., a construction flagger in Beacon was struck on Route 9D when driver Rrezart Bajramaj from Wappinger bypassed stopped traffic and ignored repeated commands to halt—she was charged with reckless endangerment and taken into custody while the flagger reported no serious injuries. - ➤ New York State Police confirmed that Kathleen Pulido (10-year-old) died after a medical emergency at a home in Ellenville on August 18 at 12:12 p.m., and the investigation remains ongoing. Hudson Valley Post
