- ➤ Seven people were charged in Middletown as part of a bust of a drug pipeline that trafficked crystal meth, cocaine, and fentanyl from Mexico to the Hudson Valley over about three years—one suspect was also charged with murdering an innocent bystander during a gang-related fight in Newburgh in 2019. - ➤ The Hudson Valley Patriots for Immigration Reform sent letters to nearly all Putnam County leaders to protest ICE raids that have left local immigrant families scared — they urged lawmakers to stop raids near schools, hospitals and churches.
