- ➤ Poughkeepsie police arrested 28-year-old Takeisha Smith and 31-year-old Donques Derello-Johnson near 17 Rose St. on Aug. 14 when officers observed suspicious behavior and found felony-weight crack cocaine—Smith was released on recognizance while Derello-Johnson was taken to county jail. - ➤ In July, Hudson Valley counties reported unemployment rates below the state's 4.6% level with Putnam at 3.1% and Delaware at 4.3%, and all counties showed lower rates than in July last year. Mid Hudson News
