- ➤ A 42-year-old inmate stabbed a correction officer with a homemade icepick-style weapon at Green Haven Correctional Facility on July 21 and injured another officer when he charged aggressively, with both victims taken for treatment and the inmate later transferred to Shawangunk Correctional Facility—union officials urged prosecution.
