- ➤ A Poughkeepsie man was accused of an armed robbery at a Sunoco station on Route 9W in the Town of Newburgh just before 2:15 a.m. on July 22 when he discharged a firearm, demanded money, and fled; he was charged with first-degree robbery, reckless endangerment, and criminal use of a firearm (case NB-02108-25).
