- ➤ On Sunday night in Poughkeepsie, police responded to two shootings when a basketball game at Hulme Park was interrupted by multiple gunshots—one female attendee was hit in the leg while another person was shot in the buttocks near the Rip Van Winkle tower, drawing assistance from Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office and hospital transports. - ➤ A 40-year-old woman was hospitalized with a gunshot wound to her leg on the 300 block of Main Street in Poughkeepsie on Friday, July 18—police said the shooting also hit an occupied store and vehicle and that no arrests have been made. Daily Voice
