The demonstrators held anti-Lawler signs and called on the Putnam County Legislature to address the alleged misuse of a personal phone number.

The New York State Office of Cannabis Management recalled cannabis products made by East End Flower Farm LTD under the Harvest brand on July 15 after tests found unsafe pesticide levels using unreliable methods by Lexachrom Analytical Laboratory—dispensaries and distributors have stopped selling these products. Consumers who bought any recalled items are asked to return them to the dispensary—no health issues have been reported.
