- ➤ A new ice cream truck service called License to Chill will travel the Hudson Valley to serve summer events including those in Poughkeepsie. - ➤ Chick-fil-A is planning to open full-service restaurants across New York State with new sites in Nanuet, the Town of Ulster, and Fishkill. - ➤ On June 9th in Wassaic, a forest ranger found two illegal campers near a creek using a motorized vehicle on state land – one suspect with active bench warrants, a revoked license and an active protection order was arrested by the sheriff while the other received a ticket. WPDH

- ➤ A schedule of New York fairs for 2025 has been released, listing dates for county fairs from early July through September such as the Allegany County Fair on July 15—20 and the New York State Fair from August 20—September 1.
