  • ➤ A serious crash occurred on Route 9 Northbound between Fox Street and Academy Street near Vassar Brothers Medical Center on June 25 around 6:30 a.m.—firefighters reported serious injuries as authorities closed both northbound lanes for investigation.  Daily Voice

CRIME NEWS

  • ➤ A Fishkill man working as a physical therapist at Hudson Point Physical Therapy was arrested by Poughkeepsie police after an investigation into child abuse claims revealed he had inappropriately touched a child — he faces charges for injuring a minor and sexual abuse and was remanded to Dutchess County Jail with bail set at $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.  Mid Hudson News
