  • The Millbrook School zoo was rededicated as the Trevor-Lovejoy Zoo on June 7 to honor alumnus Thomas E. Lovejoy III—its new logo, unveiled on June 16, accompanied plans for a master plan that will begin renovations soon.   • The New York State Court of Appeals ruled on June 17th that making a terroristic threat is bail eligible + local judges may set bail in these risky cases, a decision that supports the District Attorney’s push for tougher measures.  Mid Hudson News
  • On June 18, police arrested Felicia L. Griffin, 44, at the Corlies Manor housing complex in Poughkeepsie after a weeks-long investigation into drug sales, and they found packages of cocaine, scales, and drug materials at her Mansion Street home (Muldowney Circle) before charging her with two felony drug crimes.  Daily Voice
  • Poughkeepsie Police warned owners of Kia and Hyundai vehicles on June 20 after an increase in break-ins and theft attempts, advising them to lock their cars and remove valuables—neighbors should remain alert—and report any suspicious activity to police.  Mid Hudson News
