- ➤ Kaplan Career Academy in Wappingers Falls will build an inclusive playground for students with special needs. The project will create a safe outdoor space — designed for sensory play and community support — and relies on local sponsors and businesses for funding. WRRV
- ➤ WRRV is seeking current college students and recent grads with a love for music to host an hour-long segment during its weekly College Radio Night for Hudson Valley listeners. Interested applicants must complete the entry form to be considered. WRRV

- ➤ Following a damaging April frost, Gov. Kathy Hochul said the USDA has been asked to designate disaster areas for farmers in parts of New York (including the Hudson Valley). Crop losses are estimated at over $30 million. Hudson Valley Post
