  • A local man won a $1,000,000 Powerball prize after matching five numbers in the March 16 drawing. Stephen Masten bought his winning ticket at South Gate Deli at 1 South Gate Dr. in Poughkeepsie — he opted for a lump sum payment of $651,000 after tax withholdings.  Daily Voice

Sanfilippo & Son, Inc. announced a voluntary recall on Tuesday, May 5, for snack mixes sold under Fisher, Southern Style Nuts, Squirrel Brand, and Good & Gather because a seasoning contained recalled dry milk powder.
