- ➤ Storm King Art Center in Orange County will reopen on May 7 after completing a $53 million expansion funded by state agencies. The project added new visitor spaces including a ticket pavilion, restrooms and a group pavilion to enhance the experience. Poughkeepsie Journal

- ➤ New York Gov. Kathy Hochul announced that the state budget will return nearly $5,000 in relief through expanding the child tax credit, cutting middle-class taxes, and sending direct inflation refund checks — measures that include free school meals for over 2.7 million students.
