  • Saturday’s manhole explosion on Academy Street in Poughkeepsie was caused by an electrical fault on an underground cable rather than a gas leak, a Central Hudson official said, and no one was hurt.  Mid Hudson News

  • State Attorney General Tish James secured a settlement with Westchester County Health Care Corporation and HealthAlliance, Inc. to expand access to inpatient psychiatric care in the Hudson Valley.
