- ➤ Fishkill Farms will host its Springtime Apple Blossom Festival on Sunday, May 3 (11 a.m. to 3 p.m.) in Hopewell Junction. Visitors can enjoy live music, wagon rides, farm-to-table food, local vendor shops, and dog adoptions at the historic Dutchess County site. Hudson Valley Post

- ➤ Chef Ciarán McGoldrick, who will lead the soon-to-open Andiamo restaurant, is set to compete on 'Beat Bobby Flay' airing April 16 at 9 p.m. in the Hudson Valley as he showcases his Michelin-honed technique & passion for local ingredients. Mid Hudson News

- ➤ Metro-North has not repaired two elevators at the station (one for tracks 1 and 3 and one in the parking garage), forcing staff to carry passengers with disabilities. MTA officials said they reviewed the issue earlier this week but repairs have yet to begin. Mid Hudson News
