- ➤ Hudson Valley Renegades and Heritage Financial Credit Union announced that Stanley Still Park, home to the Town of Poughkeepsie Softball program, will be refurbished this spring through the Youth Field Betterment program. The project aims to improve the field for local youth softball with work led by Renegades Manager Tanner Puff + community partners. Mid Hudson News
- ➤ Protests by the 'No Kings' movement are taking place today at 19 sites (including Dutchess, Orange, Sullivan and Ulster counties) to oppose political dynasties and certain government actions. Organizers expect many local residents to join the peaceful demonstrations. 1450 WKIP
- ➤ The Springtime Apple Blossom Festival will take place Sunday, May 3 at Fishkill Farms in Hopewell Junction from 11am to 3pm. The event will feature live music, wagon rides, farm-to-table food, local vendors + dog adoptions. WPDH

- ➤ Highland firefighters + a Lloyd police officer rescued an elderly woman from a burning house on Vineyard Avenue early Friday and took her to a local hospital while additional crews controlled the flames until nearly 2 a.m. Mid Hudson News

- ➤ The Hyde Park Drive-In Theatre is set to reopen this year with a new operator as the National Park Service signs a lease for the historic venue on Franklin D. Roosevelt's estate. The drive-in will show films from Memorial Day to Labor Day. 1450 WKIP
- ➤ The Ulster County Fair will run from August 4th through 9th at the fairgrounds on 249 Libertyville Road in New Paltz.
