- ➤ In New York, Assemblymember Deborah Glick has proposed the Dark Skies Protection Act that would require all outdoor lighting+ to be shielded from 11 p.m. to sunrise beginning Jan. 1, 2028. The proposal allows exemptions for emergency and holiday lights. Poughkeepsie Journal
