- ➤ Orange-Ulster BOCES is celebrating Career and Technical Education Month in Goshen this February to showcase programs that give students hands-on training in fields such as digital cinema and culinary. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Gov. Kathy Hochul declared a state of emergency for over 20 counties as a powerful blizzard is forecast to hit with heavy snow and strong winds. The National Guard will be activated today + travel restrictions will take effect at 4 p.m. Poughkeepsie Journal
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ The New York State Department of Health reported a 16% rise in flu cases last week, with Westchester, Rockland and Orange counties recording the highest numbers. Health experts advised residents to get a flu shot if they have not yet been vaccinated this season. WRRV
