- ➤ A developing winter storm is moving toward our region and is forecast to affect areas from Saturday, Feb. 21 through Monday, Feb. 23. Meteorologists say cold air is key to bringing snow, with impacts depending on the storm’s track along the coast. Daily Voice

- ➤ Dutchess County Assemblyman Beephan supports Gov Hochul's plan to build an advanced nuclear power plant in the Hudson Valley to improve grid reliability & create clean energy. He said the plant would reduce transmission constraints and provide high-quality local jobs. Hudson Valley Post
- ➤ Hudson Highlands Fjord Trail Inc. pledged $450,000 to Cold Spring and Philipstown to extend sidewalks along Fair Street as part of a $2 million project easing traffic on the 7.5-mile trail connecting Cold Spring and Beacon. The municipalities will seek state DOT funds for 80% as construction begins this year. Mid Hudson News
