- ➤ The New York State Workers’ Compensation Board, SUNY and CUNY systems launched a free community college program to help injured workers return to work. The program offers free tuition, fees, books and supplies for New Yorkers ages 25–55 and sends mailers with counseling to connect them to new job skills. Mid Hudson News

- ➤ Brooke Huleatt of Mount Academy set the Section 9 indoor track record in the 200-meter dash with a time of 24.67 seconds on Saturday at the Purple Champions Invitational at the Armory — she is the first female athlete in Section IX to break 25 seconds on the indoor track. Mid Hudson News
- ➤ Former Marist kicker Jason Myers—record-setting in Super Bowl LX—kicked five field goals on Sunday, leading the Seahawks to a 29-13 win at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Mid Hudson News
