  • Stop & Shop (a popular chain in the Hudson Valley) permanently lowered everyday chicken prices at its local stores ahead of the upcoming Super Bowl, and the new pricing will remain available throughout the year.  Hudson Valley Post
  • Casa Susanna chef Efrén Hernández is set to open a contemporary coastal Mexican restaurant at Rivertown Lodge soon. The new eatery will combine seafood and local produce (mushrooms, beans, shellfish, and seaweed) and is hiring staff to expand Hudson Valley’s vibrant dining scene.  Times Union

  • New Census data (2020 to 2024) shows that many Hudson Valley counties face long commutes with averages around 27 minutes, a challenge for local residents. The data highlights areas like Ulster and Washington counties as examples.  Hudson Valley Post

  • Corey Mullen, a sophomore at Rhinebeck High School, was named national Artist of the Week by Artsonia after his raccoon drawing received over 500 votes & will receive prizes for himself and his school from Blick Art Materials.  WPDH
