  • Hudson Valley residents are encouraged to 'burp' their homes by opening windows early to clear moisture and allergens — a practice noted by The Today Show and Good Housekeeping to reduce mold, cooking odors, and stagnant air.   • Minisink Valley wrestlers fought hard in a state dual at a championship in Syracuse, losing a tight semifinal (31–30) to Massapequa. The team, which won three state titles since 2018, has only lost to the eventual champion at state meets.  Mid Hudson News

  • Pat Pagano of Spackenkill basketball won last week’s Poughkeepsie Journal boys athlete award with 63% of the vote.
