- ➤ A beloved summer spot at Lake Sebago Beach is set for a $95.8 million rebuild at Harriman State Park. Construction will begin in spring 2026 (the site will feature new sand, a bathhouse, a promenade and playgrounds) and is expected to open by summer 2027. WRRV

- ➤ Angelina Jolie will film her feature movie 'Sunny' in Rhinebeck on January 5, with Mulberry Street between Chestnut and Livingston closed from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. for a shoot using an 80-member crew, principal actors, and 15 extras (school buses may still use the road). Mid Hudson News
- ➤ Two 19th-century ice yachts from the Hudson River Ice Yacht Club and Preservation Society are on display at the FDR Library Museum (Hyde Park) until today; one named Whiff was built in 1876 in Poughkeepsie by Jacob Buckhout for Irving Grinnell. Poughkeepsie Journal
