Please RSVP , and if you are able, please make a donation in any amount to support these projects getting out into the world.
About the Book
I'm very excited to announce the launch of these two projects that have been important to me for many years. The book has been something I've felt should be out of in the world, but this has been the hardest project to share. It is so personal. But, alas, I have finally completed the first manuscript, and I came India to receive my guru's blessing. He gave it. Now, you'll be able to meet him yourself, through this wild ride of a story.
About the Album
And the album! It's been so many years since I've released a full-length project. And this one took many revisions - as I revolved through many versions of what I wanted to "say" at this moment in life. I didn't want to put out anything that felt less than true. And so, after much creating, discarding, re-creating, and editing (including many hours mixing from inside my car to get it just so) I have managed to create something that feels right. I hope it will feel right, and meaningful, to you.
"Gentle guitar and piano form the heart of the arrangements, with contributions from artists including Steve Gorn on bansuri flute, Galen Passen on sitar, and Robert Bard on upright bass."
